What does matcha taste like?
Matcha has a nice rounded flavor with mouth-filling sweetness. Chlorophyll and amino acids give matcha its unique rich taste, an initial vegetal, astringent taste, followed by a lingering sweetness.
How many times a day can I take Matcha?
Matcha gives an energy boost of up to 6 hours for some people, once a day is fine for most people who wish to maintain their health. For an instance, some condition such a chronic fatigue or to help with weight loss, we would recommend twice a day. Our Tealand Matcha sachet has 1.5 g per serving so it can be enjoyed 3 times a day.
Does Matcha contain caffeine?
Yes, Matcha Tea is a type of green tea and green tea contains caffeine. In fact one cup of matcha contains approximately the equivalent amount of caffeine as a cup of regular coffee which is 75 mg.
However, the 'type' of caffeine in matcha is different to that of caffeine in coffee, called Theophylline, which gives you a much more sustainable release of energy throughout the day.
When is the best time to take Matcha?
We recommend Matcha to be taken or consumed in the morning and early afternoon. It is not advisable to take the matcha before bed time due to caffeine amount.
Can I drink Matcha during pregnancy?

How do I store matcha?
Store matcha in your refrigerator in an airtight, light-tight tin container because it will be damaged by heat, humidity, light, air and smells from different substances. Now, it is recommended to keep the tin container tea refrigerated. In case, the can is opened, it is highly advised to consume within a short period of time.
On the other hand, once stick or Sachet of matcha contains 1.5 grams that you could enjoy by mixing it either with hot or cold milk or water. It can be savored throughout the year regardless of the time.
