Dong Ting Bi Luo Chun
Also known as Dong Ting Green Snail Spring
This style of tea is grown in the Dong Ting region in Jiangsu Province.
To make Bi Luo Chun, the bud and first leaf is plucked from the tea plant and withered. After withering, there are three processing steps: kill-green, shaping, and drying. All three processes are completed by hand in an iron pan or wok. The finished tea is made up of rolled tiny hairy green bud-sets that resemble green coiled snails.
Dong Ting Bi Luo Chun is one of China’s Top Ten list of famous teas.
